Site visit to Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Center will be held in conjunction with Japan CCS Forum 2019.
We are pleased to advise that Japan CCS Forum 2019 will be held on June 12, 2019, hosted by the Global CCS Institute, with support from Japan Coal Energy Center (JCOAL), Research Institute of Innovative Technology for the Earth (RITE) and Japan CCS Co., Ltd. The Forum is a side event of “G20 Ministerial Meeting on Energy Transitions and Global Environment for Sustainable Growth”, which will be held in KARUIZAWA from 15th to 16th June.
As a side event of the Forum, facility tours to Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Center will be scheduled on June 10 and 11 prior to the forum, with the cooperation of the Global CCS Institute and Japan CCS Co., Ltd. This facility tour is also a side event of the G20 Ministerial Meeting.
