Carbon dioxide Capture & Storage (CCS) events at the Japan Pavilion at COP25
COP25 will be held between December 2 to 13, 2019 in Mardid, Spain. There will be two Carbon dioxide Capture & Storage (CCS) events at the Japan Pavilion under the theme “~From Japan to the World~ Saving our Beautiful Planet with CCS!”. Part 1 wil be held from 13:00 to 14:30 on December 4 hosted by Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation and Mizuho Information & Research Institute, Inc., and co-hosted by Ministry of the Environment, Government of Japan. Japan CCS will host Part 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 on December 13, with the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization as co-hosts.
CCS experts from around the world will share their knowledge, experiences and insights towards accelerating the deployment of CCS/CCUS, a key technology to mitigate global warming.
