On August 16 (Wed), Japan CCS held a science class at Kita Sakae Children’s Center of Tomakomai City.

19 children from the Utonai and other areas participated in the science class.

After learning about “Global Warming and CCS”, they conducted an experiment to inflate balloons with carbon dioxide.

The children were very enthusiastic, asking questions such as:

“What does CCS stand for?”

“Where is Japan CCS located?”

“How deep does the carbon dioxide go into the ground compared with the height of the Tokyo Tower?”
