Japan CCS presented at webinars.
Japan CCS has been taking the opportunity to present at webinars to share the knowledge and experiences of the Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project to the international community.
Below are the webinars in which we presented in March 2022:
■ AIPN（Association of International Petroleum Negotiators）Webinar
On March 4, Japan CCS presented at the webinar “Tomakomai CCS Demonstration Project and Liability for Geological Storage of CO2 in Japan” with a presentation entitled “Key results of the Tomakomai Project and a look ahead”. The webinar was organized by AIPN (Association of International Petroleum Negotiators) Japan branch.
■ Webinar for PERTAMINA and LEMIGAS, Indonesia
On March 9, Japan CCS presented at the webinar for PT Pertamina, the national oil and natural gas company of Indonesia, and LEMIGAS, the Research and Development Center of Oil and Gas Technology of Indonesia, with a presentation featuring CO2 injection and monitoring, and CO2 capture process.
The webinar was organized by Japan Petroleum Exploration Co., Ltd. (JAPEX) which is conducting a feasibility study of CCUS project at the Sukowati oil field in East Java Province of Republic of Indonesia, with PT Pertamina and LEMIGAS.
